Recently, we took a trip to Dunham Massey where we played the part of Lady Stanton's servants. We were asked to prepare lots of food and Christmas decorations for the house. Also, we took a stroll in the magnificent gardens where we were introduced to the Game Keeper who needed our help to find a poacher.
To celebrate the end of term and all our hard work, we decide to have a festive party. As you can see, we had a fabulous time and even Santa made a special appearance.
We are learning about the story ‘The Gingerbread Man’. To help us write instructional text we have been baking some delicious gingerbread men. Luckily for us, the gingerbread men did not jump off the baking tray and run away as fast as they could. Instead, we got to eat them and they were yummy!
We have been learning our numbers up to 20. We have been counting objects to 20, finding missing numbers to 20 and learning number facts to 20.
Our big write was on the Stone Age. A dinosaur came to our school and made a mess of the staff room. We learnt a lot about dinosaurs. What they eat, what they look like and how they live, Then we decided to create our own dinosaur a write a dinosaur character description.
