Our Music Development Plan sets out Park Road Academy’s shared vision and priorities for music from 2025 to 2028. We have created a three-year plan so that musical learning is carefully sequenced, sustained and continually improved, rather than being a series of isolated activities. It ensures that every child has the opportunity to sing, learn an instrument, listen to live professional music, compose, use digital technology and perform for an audience.

We believe that our plan also strengthens inclusion, enrichment and community partnerships, while supporting staff development and clear progression from the early years through to Year 6. We think by doing so, we are building an ambitious, memorable and exceptional musical offer for every child.
