At Park Road Academy, we believe every child has the potential to make a difference in the world. Our Year 6 'Make Your Mark Exhibition' is a unique opportunity for pupils to take ownership of their learning, explore issues they feel passionate about and demonstrate how their ideas and actions can create positive change. Throughout the year, pupils independently investigate a real-world issue of their choice, drawing upon their knowledge and skills across the curriculum to research, question, problem-solve and develop meaningful solutions. Supported by teachers and school leaders, children develop essential life skills, including critical thinking, creativity, communication, collaboration and leadership. The project culminates in a special exhibition in June, where pupils proudly present their findings, ideas and actions to their families, peers and the wider school community. More than a celebration of academic achievement, Make Your Mark empowers our oldest pupils to find their voice, challenge thinking, demonstrate social responsibility and recognise that, regardless of their age, they have the power to make a lasting difference. It is a fitting celebration of their journey through Park Road Academy as they prepare for the next chapter of their education.
