As part of their English work, Year 5 have been reading When We Walked on the Moon by David Long — a fascinating non-fiction book about the Apollo missions.

Inspired by what they learned, the children wrote their own exploration narratives, imagining what it would be like to travel to the Moon themselves. 

We absolutely loved creating these and are incredibly proud of the creativity and imagination shown in each piece of writing. Well done, Year 5 — future astronauts and authors in the making! 🌟🌌
