Our class trip to Crucial Crew gave the children the opportunity to take part in a series of engaging and informative workshops led by professionals from British Transport Police, Catch22, and Trafford Metrovicks, alongside Road Safety Awareness and Public Transport teams. Through practical scenarios and discussions, the children learnt vital lessons about keeping themselves safe on public transport, walking to and from school, and making positive choices to avoid getting into trouble or being influenced to do the wrong thing. These were important and meaningful lessons, particularly as they begin to think about greater independence and their transition to their next school.
