Roman Britain Day with Tony North 🏺⚔️

Year 4 had a fantastic day with historian Tony North, exploring life in Roman Britain. The children learned about the Romans and Celts and brought their knowledge to life through creative activities. They designed and made their own Roman and Celtic coins, inspired by real historical patterns, and the results looked amazing!

The class also created replica Roman swords and helmets, helping them understand how and why these were used by the Roman army. It was an engaging, hands-on day that the children thoroughly enjoyed while deepening their understanding of history.
