Roman & Celtic Art with Historian Tony North

Year 4 had an incredible day with historian Tony North, diving into the world of the Romans and Celts through art! The children crafted stunning Roman and Celtic coins, using real historical patterns as inspiration to replicate the intricate designs from the past.

In the afternoon, the creativity continued as the class made Roman helmets, carefully adding studs and detailed patterns to bring them to life. Some children even created Roman swords, learning about their unique design and the reasons behind their construction.

It was a fantastic day filled with history, creativity, and hands-on learning—thank you to Tony for such an engaging experience!
