Year 4 Athletics Competition – 25.06.25

Well done to our fantastic Year 4 athletics team who competed in the Trafford Athletics Competition on Wednesday 25th June. The children took part in a variety of field and track events including howler rocket throw, long jump, triple jump, chest push and speed bounce, followed by some fast-paced races on the track such as the obstacle race, 1-lap relay and 2-lap relay.

Our girls team delivered an outstanding performance, winning 6 out of the 9 races, finishing 2nd in two and 3rd in one—a truly dominant showing on the track!

Across the whole competition, Park Road finished 3rd overall out of 5 schools, with every child giving their all and showing brilliant teamwork, effort and encouragement throughout the afternoon.

A huge well done to all who took part—you represented the school brilliantly!
