We had an amazing trip to Home Farm at Tatton Park to launch our first history topic: How did Britain change between the end of the Roman occupation and 1066? During the visit, we enjoyed a fascinating deer talk, practised Roman military formations such as the tortoise, tried our hand at grinding wheat into flour and winnowing, and even had a quick tour of the farm. It was a fantastic start to our learning journey!
