Seasonal Tarts
Year 3 have been developing their cooking and nutrition skills through our unit on seasonal tarts. The children explored seasonal ingredients and discussed how different vegetables grow at different times of the year.
They then designed and created their own delicious seasonal tarts, carefully preparing ingredients and thinking about flavour, texture and presentation. It was wonderful to see the children working safely and independently while developing their practical skills.
A fantastic hands-on lesson full of creativity, teamwork and tasty learning!
