Year 5 travelled across North America without leaving the classroom during an exciting virtual reality experience! Using VR headsets, the children explored a range of contrasting locations, including Mexico, New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles and the Arctic region near Canada and Greenland. The experience helped pupils develop their geographical understanding by comparing different environments, climates and human and physical features across the continent. They were able to see first-hand just how varied North America is, from busy urban landscapes to much colder Arctic environments.🌎❄️🏙️
