Year 4 enjoyed an exciting Greek Warfare Day with historian Tony North. The children learned all about the Ancient Greeks and Persians, focusing on how the Battle of Marathon was won. They created impressive Greek-style shields and helmets and even took part in a re-enactment of the start of the battle. It was a fantastic, hands-on day that brought history to life and helped the children deepen their understanding of Ancient Greece.
