In Art & Design, we have been exploring photography as a creative medium. Children have researched a range of photomontage examples and created their own cityscapes using photographs of everyday objects. We have explored abstract art through photography and experimented with creating our own digital artwork, as well as recreating famous pieces of art using photographs. Building on these skills, pupils then used careful observation and an understanding of proportion to create their own artwork in a photorealistic style, developing both technical accuracy and creative expression.
