In Art, Year 4 have been exploring the fabric of nature, studying how patterns, textures, shapes and colours combine to create beautiful natural images. Our focus has been the rainforest, with its vibrant colours and fascinating textures.

Using image selectors, the children carefully chose and enlarged four separate sections of an original rainforest photograph to create a striking quadrant piece of artwork. This helped the class focus on the intricate details found in nature and develop their observation and artistic skills. The finished pieces look fantastic and really capture the beauty of the rainforest!
