Year 2 have the opportunity to learn to play the Toot, while Year 4 develop their instrumental skills by learning the recorder with Ms Baldwin.

These instruments provide children with a fantastic introduction to playing a woodwind instrument and help them to develop key skills such as breath control, fingering, rhythm and reading simple notation. Throughout their lessons, pupils learn and perform a range of pieces, take part in musical games and songs, and complete written activities to deepen their musical understanding.
