Mr Coulson is the Corporate Controller of Luxfer Holdings PLC (NYSE: LXFR), a global industrial company innovating niche applications in materials engineering. Mr Coulson joined Luxfer in August 2016 as Financial Reporting Manager and later became Head of Financial Reporting, becoming Corporate Controller in March 2022. In his current role he leads the Corporate Finance function which includes external financial reporting to the New York Stock Exchange, internal management reporting to stakeholders, financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. Prior to joining Luxfer, Mr Coulson was a Group Financial Accountant at Assurant (NYSE: AIZ) and auditor at KPMG.

Mr Coulson is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (FCA) and holds a BA (Hons) degree in Accounting and Finance from Lancaster University. He presently serves as Vice Chair of the Park Road Academy Primary School full Governing Board and is a member of the Audit Committee, (former chair) and Finance and Personnel Committee. He also acts as the school’s internal auditor. Mr Coulson also serves as a Director and Trustee of Luxfer’s defined benefit pension plan and a Director of Luxfer Holdings PLC’s subsidiaries. He is also an FA level 1 qualified football coach, and currently coaches a junior football team in the local area.
