I joined the Governing Body in 2023, with over 13 years' experience in education. As a proactive educator who seeks leadership development, I have led teams across a range of primaries in Manchester, Trafford and Stockport, in my role as Local Leader of Mathematics Education, working for North West One Maths Hub. My leadership experience has spanned across: school development, Head of Year at a five-form entry primary school, Key Stage Two writing moderator and most recently, Trust Director of Primary Curriculum for Laurus Trust. I have an insatiable passion to develop young people and their futures in order to secure the best outcomes for them. 

As a governor, I sit on the Complaints appeal panel, as well as Safeguarding, Prevent and Bullying. I am also a link governor for Maths/ STEM, Assessment and SEND. Preparing all children, whatever their background, for a world they are developing curiosity about , is of paramount importance to my ethos in my role at Park Road Academy. I enjoy sharing my expertise within the skillset of the board and have a particular interest in thinking strategically to ensure that the school is supported effectively to progress. I pride myself on my collaborative skills and understand the importance of building strong working relationships within the board and with senior leaders, staff, parents and carers, pupils, the local community and employers.
