On Tuesday, 25th February, the Park Road boys’ football team put in a series of excellent performances in their latest league fixtures. Playing with confidence, teamwork, and determination, the team controlled the majority of their matches and showcased some outstanding football throughout the day.
A commanding 2-0 victory over Cloverlea set the tone, followed by another strong performance in a 1-0 win against Well Green. Against Elmridge, the boys continued to play on the front foot, earning a well-fought 1-1 draw. The final game saw Park Road dominate possession once again but, despite creating several chances, they were held to a 0-0 draw against Forest Prep.
Overall, it was a fantastic display from the team, showing both attacking threat and defensive solidity. Well done to all the players for their efforts!

The Park Road girls’ football team delivered an excellent set of performances in their latest league fixtures, demonstrating fantastic organisation, determination, and teamwork throughout the afternoon.
Despite dominating possession and creating numerous chances, the team was incredibly unlucky not to come away with more wins. A resolute defensive display saw them battle to 0-0 draws against Hale Prep, Oldfield Brow, and Cloverlea, with Park Road controlling much of the play in each game. Their persistence was finally rewarded with a well-earned 1-0 victory over Forest Prep, showcasing their ability to turn dominance into results.
The team should be extremely proud of their efforts, as they played some brilliant football and showed great discipline in every match. Well done to all involved!

The Park Road boys’ football team ended their league season on a high, delivering a series of outstanding performances that saw them rise from 7th place to finish 4th in the final standings.
The afternoon kicked off with a well-earned 1-1 draw against Altrincham CofE, where the team showed great determination to come from behind and push for a winner. This was followed by a dominant 1-0 victory over Elmridge, with Park Road controlling the game and creating plenty of chances.
A tough test against league leaders Willows ended in a 2-0 defeat, but Park Road made sure their opponents had to work hard for the win. The final match of the day saw the team produce some fantastic attacking football in a 2-1 victory over Oldfield Brow, sealing a brilliant end to the season.
With these strong results, the boys' efforts were rewarded with a jump up the table to finish in an impressive 4th place. A fantastic achievement—well done to the entire squad!

The Park Road football team wrapped up their league season with a determined display against some of the toughest teams in the division. Despite dominating large spells of play, the team had to settle for two goalless draws against Hale Prep and Oldfield Brow, both matches showcasing their strong organisation and attacking intent.
A challenging fixture against league champions Willows followed, with Park Road working hard but ultimately falling to a 3-0 defeat. The final game of the season ended in a narrow 1-0 loss, despite the team creating great chances and forcing the opposition goalkeeper into two outstanding saves.
After a highly competitive season, the girls secured a respectable 6th-place finish out of 10 teams. A fantastic effort from the entire squad—well done!
