At Park Road Academy, we believe that every child should have the opportunity to discover new talents, explore their interests and develop skills that extend far beyond the classroom. Our exciting Key Stage Two Masterclass Programme offers a range of unique, hands-on enrichment experiences throughout the academic year, delivered by different members of our talented and enthusiastic staff team. From photography, sculpture and animation to cooking, music composition, science and creative crafts, each masterclass provides an opportunity for children to try something new, develop practical skills and perhaps discover a passion they never knew they had!

Each session also makes meaningful connections to the world of work, introducing children to different professions, broadening their horizons and helping them recognise how their interests and talents could inspire future career pathways. These extended, one-off after-school experiences are designed to ignite curiosity, build confidence, encourage creativity and raise aspirations, enriching our wider curriculum and personal development offer.

Enrichment for Everyone

We are passionate about ensuring that financial circumstances never become a barrier to opportunity. All children eligible for Pupil Premium funding can access our masterclasses completely free of charge, with places fully funded by the school. We also warmly encourage families experiencing financial difficulties to contact us confidentially so that we can explore additional support. We never want a child to miss out on an opportunity to discover a talent, develop a skill or explore a career because of financial challenges.

New masterclasses are advertised throughout the year on Tapestry, with booking available through Arbor. Places are limited for each session to ensure children enjoy a high-quality, engaging and memorable experience.
