Fairtrade Fortnight: 21st Feb- 6th March
The Eco Warriors kick started Fairtrade Fortnight with
an assembly explaining what Fairtrade was and what we
could do as consumers to help local farmers around the
world. During Fairtrade Fortnight, the PTA and Geography ambassadors
invited friends and relatives into school for a Fairtrade coffee morning.
The whole school baked cakes which contained Fairtrade products
for this event and it was a huge success!
Pupil Voice were delighted to host a Coffee Morning for parents
to raise money for Macmillan. Pupils entered our Bake Off
competition and baked cakes for parents to enjoy. The cakes were
amazing and parents really enjoyed them so it was a difficult task
to judgethe winners. Pupils were also able to enjoy a cake at break time.
